Splish Splash

We finally took Lennon to the splash pad near our house on Sunday….now that summer is nearly over. He loved watching the big kids and splashing in the fountain. There were a couple of older kids that splashed him in the face a few times. He cried at first, but soon got over it and realized that it’s part of splash pad etiquette, or lack there-of.  It was one of those great summer weekends that I don’t want to forget. A BBQ and brunch with friends, time at the park, a morning walk to the coffee shop, a bike ride and dinner on the patio. This time of the year when summer is winding down is so precious, isn’t it?
