He's been smiling and "cooing" more and more lately. Our happy hour is still in the morning after he's eaten & had a good poop. I sit him in his Boppy pillow and we "talk" to one another for a good half hour or so.
Speaking of poop, Lennon goes a lot. He's averaging at least one outfit change a day due to his bathroom etiquette....or lack there-of.
Still eating at least every 3 hours or more. At night he's pretty consistent with eating every 3, then settling nicely back to sleep. However, just when you think you have your kid figured out they throw you through a loop. Last night he got up almost every hour. Growth spurt again?
We won't officially weigh him until his 2 month appointment next week, but at home he's weighing in around 10 lbs. I think he looks so big and chubby, but I realize he's still a little peanut.
Lennon's fussy time is still going strong. Every evening it's like a switch turns on around 6-7 o'clock and he starts fussing. We try to dart it by making evening trips to the mall, or going for a walk but it usually just pushes the fussy period back. Can't trick a trickster. We have had the occasional evening where he's calm, so hopefully this means he's getting over this phase.
The little guy loves napping on anyone's chest. If the creepy neighbor next door came over and wanted Lennon to nap on him, he'd oblige. I started out worrying I was creating a bad habit, but I've gotten over it. It's just so sweet when they nuzzle in your neck. It also helps that he sleeps a lot longer this way ;).
And now a photo dump:
Creepily sleeping with one eye open. Can't sneak one past Lennon!
I love this picture because Lennon looks so angelic...but if you look close he's got a spot of poop on his left arm. Ha, I swear we're keeping it together around here.

I try to get pictures of him smiling...but all I get is big eyes and a comb-over.
Finally a smile while wearing the outfit uncle Ben came home in from the hospital 24 years ago. What can I say, Lennon likes vintage.

Mommy creating bad habits. Classic fussy time pose.
Jordan wants nothing to do with his stinky little cousin, but some day they'll be bff's.
Lennon being doted on by grandma J & great great aunt Helen.
Happy 7 weeks little buddy! We love you more today than yesterday.
xxoo
