June was a busy month in our little household. I returned to work, we had a visit from uncle Nate, a trip to Lake Linka, a work trip for me, a couple fevers & a cold thrown in the mix, a getaway with friends for Dave and me & Lennon’s first 2-night getaway from mom and dad. We’re pretty excited to be sticking around home this weekend. I should post a picture of the state of our house, but I’ll spare you all. Pretty sure you could make a hair doll from our bathroom floor. Thanks hormones.
Lennon has been a pretty happy guy lately. He rolls around smiling, talking to himself & chewing on Sophie the Giraffe for most hours of the day. He started rolling over a couple weeks ago, but decided to take a break for about a week and half. Then on Sunday he randomly started up again and has not looked back since. Changing diapers and clothes is no longer easy. Man, they grow up quickly.
Other favorites: the bouncy chair, violently kicking his left leg, stroller walks, trees, other kids, eating, knocking his nook out of his mouth & then whining because he doesn’t have it, getting books read to him, & daddy. I can never seem to make him laugh like Dave does.
Some photos of the stinker over the past week…
Lennon hanging with Uncle Ben & chewing on his $25 piece of rubber.
I wonder what’s going through that little mind.
A sleepy stroller ride.
If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.
Lennon laughs at the last line of this book & we don’t know why. Quirky kid:
Rolling over and whining:
Cheers to the start of summer!
