Terrible. F.

I’m a terrible blogger. I can’t believe we’ve already surpassed Lennon’s 2 & 3 month milestones and I didn’t post any pictures or blog about it. If I’m this bad with Lennon, imagine how bad I’ll be with any other children we might have. Our second baby will bring “middle child syndrome” to a whole new level. I promise to make blogging more of a priority in the weeks to come.

Lennon has been changing every week, but I feel like he’s really grown in the past two weeks or so. He likes to “talk” to himself, coo to Dave and me, make fart noises, drool & bounce in his bouncy chair. He rolled over from back to tummy for the first time last week. He’s only done it a few times since then, but he thinks it’s pretty cool when he does. I'm sure it helps that Dave and I cheer every time he does it, ha. He chews so hard on his hands that sometimes I think he’s going to bite a finger off. His hands are constantly clammy and raw….what a little boy.

As sweet as a newborn baby is, I have to say I’m happy to be out of that phase. It’s so much more fun when they aren’t so delicate and they start getting a little meat on their bones. Our boy has grown out of his fussy evenings…although he did have a little set back when he started daycare.  Speaking of daycare, it was so hard for me to go back to work! I’m pretty sure his teachers thought I was nuts. I cried when I left him on his two “practice” days when he was only there for two hours. Things have gotten better though, and although our new routine can be hectic, we’re getting more into our groove every day. Lennon likes all of his new friends…even though they take his socks off and steal his pacifier. He’s forgiving.

A couple random photos:

Baby boy still loves his bathtime, but has since gotten too big for the sling he's laying in in this photo :(.

Hanging at the cabin in his Bumbo, or as Dave calls it Bumba.

Daddy and Lennon before their first night alone togther (2 months old)."Can't wait for mommy to get out of the house so we can do guy things."

Lake Linka!

Tired after a long day at daycare.

Napping at the cabin...fresh air will tire a baby out.

Lennon's Mother's Day outfit. Those hands!

A video of the little munchkin.Ignore his annoying parents in the background.

Happy 2 & three months little man!
